When we help children understand their nervous system, we give them lifelong tools for safety, connection, and resilience

Who it's for:

This workshop is designed for children aged approximately 8–11 years who:

  • Experience big feelings and struggle to self-regulate

  • Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or sensitive to sensory input

  • Are neurodivergent or navigating emotional challenges

  • Would benefit from learning gentle tools for calm and confidence

  • Thrive in safe, creative, and non-judgmental environments

It’s also ideal for families seeking trauma-informed support and emotional literacy tools they can use at home.

What you'll explore:

Children will gently explore:

  • 🌈 Naming and understanding emotions

  • 🌬️ Breathwork and movement for grounding

  • 🧠 What happens in the brain and body during overwhelm

  • 🎨 Creative expression and sensory play

  • 💛 Building a personal calm toolkit they can use anytime

All activities are optional, inclusive, and designed to honour each child’s pace and personality.
